This Is Where Sony Will Announce PlayStation 4

Are you ready? Sony will announce PlayStation 4 at The Hammerstein Ballroom at the Manhattan Center Studios in New York. See what the venue looks like below the break.

The Hammerstein Ballroom can seat 2,800 people and is known for its international product launches.

Along with PS4, rumor has it Sony will also show off some of its big next-gen titles, including Killzone 4, Motorstorm, LittleBigPlanet 3, something new from Media Molecule (Sumo Digital is developing LBP3) and even something from Naughty Dog – Uncharted 4, most likely.

(This post was edited to say that the The Hammerstein Ballroom can seat 2,800 people. It previously said the location could seat 2,200 people, which was incorrect).

    youd think they would be announcing this in JP, or at least EU, not $onys WORST market!
    i really cant understand there logic, the states is BY FAR the least profitable area for them and has always been since the companies creation!

    Youve just answered your own question Nick. Exactly its their worst market so put in in USA and they will get more attention from that country, it will russle up more publicity. People from EU, JP will be tuning in anyway. This way they will try and break the media in this country to generate more sales. Its called marketing strategy,

    by that logic, might as well hold it in parliament!
    should of held it in there home country, that is where the system will sell the best.
    especially if they have a MGS or even versus 13 ready to go at launch.
