nah, save your money and buy crysis 3!
eh, i tried.
at least DS3 when it comes down to it is a decent mindless shooter, and it actually is quite stunning graphics wise!
aliens sadly not, its amazing how gearbox have managed to make a game so boring and frustrating!
and something that looks like it actually released in 2005!
ive lost ALLOT of respect for gearbox, and randy in general.
hes such a two face, hes constantly saying oh this franchise means so much to the team and to me personally.
than he releases it in such a mess.
if these franchises meant so much to you randy, if you really gave half a shit as you claim to do about duke nukem and aliens, then you wouldent of released them in the condition you did!

yea, thats pretty accurate.
knew this was going to suck donkey balls!
first it was in development for so long with next to no news, than all of a sudden hey remember that game we announced so many years ago?
yea its releasing on …
no hype no build up no nothing!
secondly the last game gearbox put out that had the same development cycle was DNF, nuf said!
been playing it for 4 days now and ive gotta say and i thought Prometheus was a disappointment!
i wouldent even call it a shooting gallery, the biggest most annoying thing is you cant carry medpacks with you, so if your low on health and get ambushed well touch luck.
you cant plan ahead and say no ill save these for later, and that means when you do get ambushed and need health packs you normally die hightailing it back saying oh i remember there was a medipack here a few moments ago!
its funny how the games that have the longest development times always feel by far the most unfinished.
and especially graphically wise, this looks like it had a budget of a pie and song quite literally!
very buggy, really drab and dreary lighting engine its so hard to see anything, and the graphics especially the face models of other marines i could swear they came from a ps2 game!
than the worst part of the game, this is aliens i should be sitting here shivering and shitting my pants!
i was really worried this was turning into dead space.
just another typical mindless shooter.
but somehow gearbox hasent even managed that!
underneath dead space 3 is a decent passable game because its actually half fun, modern, and works.
thats a hell of allot more than you can say about aliens!
very, very, VERY disappointed!
but not surprised.

man i wasn’t even expecting this at all. makes me want to cancel my pre-order and just wait until its in the bargain bin. i mean reviews have never swayed me, but when almost everyone who has got the game plus reviewers all saying its bad. that’s sign for sure.
