And no gaming has not been the same since 30 years ago, i think they way pong was created is slightly different to todays latest blockbusters. and even if they hadnt why would or should we change?! how can you change gaming into something totally different? gaming is restricted by the technology that creates it so your just chattering fluent bullshit as usual.
Anyway, i for one am looking forward to the next gen consoles (although im pretty sure its not microsoft and sony’s 8th generation console like the thread suggests lol) I am however a bit sceptical that we still no so little about either for them to be released this year, hopefully i will be proved wrong and hopefully they will be affordable. With the price of powerful laptops and desk tops nowadays they dont want to price themselves out of the market before they even start!
I still feel that this gen still has a lot to offer though, why do we need to push barriers so quickly when what we do have is more than sufficient?! yeah i can understand why we push barriers in medical research for cancer cures etc (even though i disagree with it but thats a totally different topic!) If we advance gaming too quickly in such a volatile climate and market it could crash the gaming industry all together!!!

when you think about it we have been controlling our games the same way for what, 30 years now?
i think a time of change and re invigoration is WELL passed!
same thing goes for allot of things, cars for instance the basic instruments for cars have not changed pretty much at all!
one thing that always pisses me off about seeing car concepts.
LED screens replacing the tacomater for instance.
prototype cars 99% of the time are not pie in the sky stuff, there things we could very easily do now!
so why dont we?
ok expensive, but we did not sit back and say nah were not going to send a man to the moon its too expensive now did we?
and when countless people died, and millions of dollars worth of equipment went up in smoke, we did not throw in the towel.
so why has mankind become such a bunch of fucking pussies!?

If buying all of these consoles can fit inside maybe $2k, I truly consider it. It’s a lot of money, but I like to call it an investment.
