As it ramps up for an apparent PlayStation Omni unveiling sometime next year, Sony’s looking to make PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale 2 one of its family-friendly next-gen titles. The role of game designer asks candidates for “a near encyclopedic knowledge of modern games, with emphasis on PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale”, and also “knowledge of fighting games, their systems and mechanics a serious plus”.
The winning art director candidate will be working on PS All-Stars Battle Royale 2: “A project such as PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, which by definition brings together elements ranging from an incredibly wide range of artistic styles, requires a strong and unifying vision to present a cohesive and polished product.”
The first game wasn’t a mega-sales blockbuster, however Sony seems please with returns, telling IGN: “Sales are right on target with expectations and we are happy with them.” Perhaps a sequel is on the way.
