Bioshock Infinite Box Art Isn’t For The Fans

Who cares what you, the hardcore Bioshock Infinite fan, who cares what you think?

Not Ken Levine, who made his case by talking gibberish about, of all things, salad dressings.

Here’s Levine’s take on fan-backlash:

There are plenty of products that I buy that I don’t spend a lot of time thinking about. My salad dressing. If there’s a new salad dressing coming out, I would have no idea. I use salad dressing; I don’t read Salad Dressing Weekly. I don’t care who makes it, I don’t know any of the personalities in the salad dressing business.

See, it’s not about you, man. You’ll buy the game come what may, right? Right, so who cares what you think? In related news, Ken Levine has fallen in love with A Thousand Islands salad dressing. Who would have thought it!

I’m just angry at the fact that they won’t include the free Bioshock game for Eu gamers! You guys know that we are part of your base right?

what the hell does the box art have to do with salad dressing?
exactly why you never ask a developer to do a publishers job, just like you never ask a hardware developer to do a software developers job.
they have no flying fuck of a idea what the hell their talking about!
gotta love it how he says i dont read salad dressing weekly because that is exactly the problem with the box art.
there are people out there that dont read gaming websites, or gaming dressing weekly.
they go to a game shop, look what game looks interesting judging by the info on the box, and buy it!
you just lost a hell of allot of sales because your box art looks EXACTLY the same as every game out there!
its amazing and disturbing how little developers understand how the look of your product WILL effect its sales!
making the cover look like your usual brotastic mindless generic shooter is just going to turn people off the game, because 1 thats NOT what it is, and 2 nor is it what people want.
quite frankly allot of people are SICK to DEATH with them!
my god i never thought id see such a display of arrogance from you ken, you lost ALLOT of respect from me!
