Dark Souls II Announced At VGAs, Trailer Inside

Biggest surprise of the Video Games Awards so far is this: Dark Souls 2 just got a new trailer, confirming what’s been a massive hit in the US and Europe will indeed see a sequel. Dark Souls II is a thing. Trailer below the break.

Said Tomohiro Shibuya, FromSoftware Director on Dark Souls II: “The entire development team is striving to make Dark Souls II an experience that is fresh while not forsaking its roots in presenting players with challenging gameplay. Our goal is to surprise and delight our fans with new experiences and plot twists while enticing new players to join our dark journey.”

    this is my most anticipated game, i don’t think anything can stop my sheer excitement for this game. as much as i love fallout, a fallout 4 announcement would top this (but i would be welcomed lol). man so pumped for this game i was sure this was gonna be a next gen title, but From Software surprised me.

    interesting to see where they go with it this time.
    just one request, if your going to do your usual BS and have players choose 1 of two paths at least give us some information to base our decision on!
    one thing i HATED about dark souls, its constantly making you make decisions with no information what so ever.
    take a new born baby and sit him through a calculus exam why dont you!?
    its kinda unfair to punish people for making wrong decisions when you did not supply them with sufficient content to make said decision.
    in fact the perfect word to describe dark souls would be cheap.
    punishing you for things you did not do.
    its like zombiu, i absolutely LOVE that game!
    its SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun, and a massive breath of fresh air!
    but ive had to stop playing it because its so fucking god dam cheap!
    it puts you on a plank 100 meters off the ground, and asks you do dodge 10 zombies spitting acid at you.
    yea something tells me your going to end up moving out of the way of the spitting zombie and falling to your death.
    not exactly fair to expect people to deal with 10 zombies nipping at their necks when there on a freaking plank and can barely move!
