Halo 5 In Early Stages Of Development For Next Gen, 343 Says

Halo 4′s success has bolstered developer 343 Industries to talk about the franchise’s future openly and without fear of rebuke, apparently, as the game’s franchise development director is already making mention of the next Halo.

“Alot of people at 343 are already prototyping ideas and software and art for future Halo products,” Frank O’Connor told CVG.

“I can’t say more than that, but work on the game started actually before we launched Halo 4 and continues apace as we cycle staff through the team’s vacation breaks. We’re excited about the next game.”

That’s good and all, but don’t you think it’s a bit early for 343 Industries to be talking about Halo 5? I mean, it’s been what, just over a month since Halo 4 was released?
