Retail outlets from around the U.S. are reporting Wii U shortages, but Nintendo has committed to replenishing stock by Black Friday and again at Christmas.
“There will be some available – not only for Christmas. We’ll have more available on Black Friday in retail locations,” Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime told CNBC.
The console was launched on November 18th in the U.S., with some deeming the launch as one of the worst we’ve seen in recent times. The good news for Nintendo is, even if the console’s release didn’t go as planned, units are still selling out. And at the end of the day, that’s what matters to mega-firms like Nintendo.
