Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault delayed on Vita, out January 2013

Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault was announced for a PS3 release back in May, after that announcement, another was made at GamesCom 2012 confirming Cross-Buy between the PS3 and Vita . The latter version has been delayed.

This was a promising thing in the development of the game, but now Insomniac Games has announced that the Vita version will be delayed to January 2013, while the PS3 version is still releasing on November 27th.

As a “reward” for customers’ patience, Sony will release the “Mini-Boss Skin Pack” as free downloadable content on PS3. It contains three boss character skins from past Ratchet & Clank games.

Here is a picture of the DLC:

There has still been no word concerning the cross-buy situation, but I believe we will still get the Vita version for free if we buy the PS3 version. How? I have no idea, but Insomniac Games have never let me down. The reason for the delay has not been announced.

Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault is releasing in NA on November 27th, while EU gets the game on November 30th. It’s Called Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force in PAL territories.
