Halo 4, as expected, topped the UK game sales chart last week, but the full story isn’t told by its position. Master Chief’s latest battle came in just under Assassin’s Creed 3′s overall sales last week, and is now the UK’s 18th biggest launch.
The game underperformed, however, as it sold less than Halo 3 – now the 15th biggest launch in UK history, or even Halo: Reach – UK’s 12th biggest launch, ever.
Assassin’s Creed 3 held on to 2nd, while FIFA 13 dropped one spot to 3rd.
Here’s the full list:

interesting to note that LBP karting only managed to hit 24th!!
Interesting article though Ernice. Just out of interest, do you have the list of the biggest game launch titles that you quote here?
Hey bro, yeah – sad LBP Karting performed so poorly. But who releases a new IP in the midst of Halo 4, Assassin’s Creed 3 and Black Ops 2? Sony’s just crazy.
