Mass Effect Trilogy will pack much DLC, save for Mass Effect 3′s

With the package just days away, we thought we should make a list of what’s inside. Mass Effect is one of the best franchises to grace this generation of gaming, so if you haven’t bought any (or some) of the three main games, go out and buy the Trilogy package once it’s out.

The PC and 360 versions are set to launch on November 6 in North America, while the Playstation 3 versions will land on North America and Europe in December 4 and 7, respectively. It will cost 59.99$, all included in a premium box. For the first time, Playstation 3 gamers will get access to the first game, which has been recreated instead of being ported, and will have the DLC integrated in its core gameplay. In case you have the other two on the Playstation 3, don’t fret; it will be released as a stand-alone title on the Playstation Store, for 14.99$.

The Xbox 360 version will ship in 5 discs (one disc for Mass Effect, two discs for Mass Effect 2 and two discs for Mass Effect 3 — the same number of discs as the original versions), and the PC version, even though unannounced, will probably have the same number of discs. The Playstation 3 Blu-ray count is unknown, as of now.

Mass Effect Trilogy’s cover art will only feature a male Commander Shepard, and will not feature a reversible female Shepard cover the way Mass Effect 3 did. However, the official Mass Effect 3 Twitter teases that “we’ve got a little something special planned for FemShep coming, so keep that chin up!”.

What about the confusion surrounding DLC, though? We’ll break it down for you.
