About Joseph Garrett

Nice article Joseph! By the way, am I the only one to despise Notch?

  • TheGrimOfDeath

I don’t despise Notch, made a great game, but he made only ONE great game. Still waiting to see the other games he is making. Also I wanted to be a game designer. I seriously thought about it, I knew about over-time(aka Crunching), I knew If I had a family I wouldn’t have that much time with them but my kids would have thought I was awesome, I knew it would be a hard life. So I just decided continuing being a doctor. I love Bio, helping people and just love seeing gory stuff and then fixing it. So yeah, but I’m worried I might not game as much because being a doctor is hard. I just don’t want my gaming side to go away. :c

Also the fact is that the gaming industry is very competitive, so I might lose my job many times. Being a doctor can secure me a job almost immediately after graduation. Sometimes I think I think too much since I’m 15. I wish I could enjoy life more.

I just hate him for his attitude. Yes, Minecraft is a hit… but we’ve seen one-hit-wonders before, and him having this elitist attitude only makes me think he’ll tank with the next release.

Talk about game design eating up time… I’m not a full-fledged dev yet, and just studying eats up a ton of time.

christos im plan on going in the National Guard but im stuck between joining the Army.My older brother is in basic and he told me Guard members get paid $1000 every month they are there.any advice

Oh well, I can’t say, I’m living in Greece so I’ll be joining the Hellenic army. I’m sure whatever I tell you would be pointless, the two armies might be too different from each other.

  • narwall14

Your guys army sounds way cooler than ours :(

  • http://www.starblindgames.com Christos Chatzisavvas

Haha it’s as cool as an army can get :P I’d love to get into the royal guard; these guys stay still for an hour, don’t even blink, and their uniform is handmade (takes 6-7 months to make). They’re the top-tier special forces, although they’re not on the frontlines (hence “royal” guard). The Marines or our frogmen though, that’s another story.

yeah i doubt some one would try to kill the queen they would be to busy trying to make those guys move lmao
