3DS Obliterating PS Vita In Europe

Each week in Europe, Nintendo’s 3DS system is outselling Sony’s PS Vita by a ratio of 2:1 or greater, according to graphs released by Nintendo as part of its overnight investors conference.

While the figures are unavailable, the chart confirms that the 3DS has been shifting approximately 40,000 units per week on average, compared to PS Vita’s 10,000 to 20,000 units.

Sony’s got a lot of work to do if it wants to save PS Vita. Hopefully Black Ops II: Declassified and AC3: Liberation will help the flailing console.

Adding insult to injury, Nintendo feels 3DS has underperformed outside of Japan.

omfg(o my faithful god) im not complaining about it idc if it comes out or not im just tired of hearing people ask “why why is the vita failing!!” and i tell them it’s because no one wants to put games on it

Actually the Vita is failing not because nobody wants to put games on it (although that is a reason), the main reason is because of it’s price point. Most adults and adults who have children look at the 3DS and the Vita and get shocked at the price of the Vita so 3DS is in the bag.

true very true all they need to do is cut the price and and get good loyal devs making games for and that thing will sell like a Vegas whore on Saturday.I know i rant a lot i just im sick of being bashed on for wanting the vita to succeed and getting bashed on when i don’t care any more

of course it is!
so much cheaper, so many more games, better games, not to mention no stupid pain in the a$$ restrictions like 1 account per system.
$ony fucked up big time with the vita, and now their paying for it!
there turning into apple!
ridiculously overpriced, feel slightly old tech, and are so stingy and tight with everything its not funny.
ironic considering how open they are with their phones, i mean they even put a rooting guide on their freaking website!
talk about polar opposites………
the xperia team seriously need to take over playstation and teach them how to run a successful business!
