sad to see him go.
scary how many people are upping and leaving this year its almost a article a day were hearing of someone moving on.
makes you wonder why.
i really hope THQ get behind vergil and give them the budget they need to do darksiders 3.
but this time its a direct sequel to the original, you play as war, and it is exactly the same as the original.
a dungeon crawler puzzle focused RPG.
darksiders 2 is good, but it lose everything that made the original so special.
the slow heavy combat was its charm, so many games are fast action paced the slow heavy combat made it unique.
the puzzles and level design just showed off how creative the developers are and their attention to detail.
everything for the sequel was the complete opposite, instead of being unique and well thought out, attention to every detail, its scale for the sake of scale and everything feels dumbed down, simplified.

I'm starting to feel like small gaming companies are going to lose the ability to make good games and will lose their place in making games and monopolies of developers will start to form. Imagine the day where there is only one console, one developer and one crappy franchise. *shudder*

2004 - WWE Day Of Reckoning. that is the last THQ game that i can say i actually enjoyed. i remember me, my brother and cousin would play the crap out of that game on the gamecube. I'm talking about countless summers of playing it, getting out from school and playing it together, spending holidays playing it. its just too bad that THQ is actually worthy of the nickname "Truly Horrible Quality" because that exactly what all their games are to me imo.
