There Will Be Weapons Prestige In Black Ops 2

Treyarch’s confirmed the ability to prestige you gun twice, in Black Ops 2.

“Did you know that you can Prestige any gun two times?” Tweeted Treyarch senior game design director David Vonderhaar.

Vonderhaar also made known that weapons and level Prestige will be completely independent, with the level not being reset when going for a second Prestige.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II sees a release November 13th worldwide.

    @Grim: You know how you prestige in the game? Well, you gun will have the same feature, albeit separately.

    For everyone who buys BO2, I hope it isn’t the same crap with a few gimmicks added. So far, I only see new things with zombies gameplay. Zombies alone may make black ops a buy for me, but I don’t think a future setting with futuristic weapons(and an exciting weapons prestige…. WTF? Why?) will keep my interest as long as the first one did.

    @Ernice: So what does this do to the gun? More stuff to put on the gun? Or (hopefully not) the ability to change stats?
