Deadly Premonition: Director’s Cut edition coming exclusively to the PS3

Deadly Premonition, an almost-two years old title for the Xbox 360, will come exclusively to the Playstation 3, under the name Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut, featuring updated visuals, controls and new content. The game is out early 2013.

According to director Hidetaka “Swery” Suehiro, the new game will have a reworked control system which will improve the game’s combat, a new scenario which will add to the game’s story, and improved high-definition graphics. The first edition wasn’t even in HD, whereas the Director’s Cut has been completely remastered in 1080p resolution. Swery is also planning post-launch downloadable content following the new edition’s release.
