PlayStation Mobile Now Live


Sony launched PlayStation Mobile today, a new service the company claims will bring bite-sized games to both PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Certified devices through the PlayStation Store.

If you’re using a PS Vita, a new PlayStation Mobile tab will appear in the Store. If you’re using a smartphone or tablet, you’ll have access the store through the dedicated PlayStation Mobile for Android app. It will either be automatically added to your to your device or you can manually download it through this portal.

Here are the launch titles:

Super Crate Box
Twist Pilot
Fuel Tiracas
Aqua Kitty – Milk Mine Defender
Samurai Beatdown
Beats Slider
Hungry Giraffe
Tractor Trails
Word Blocked
Flick Hockey
Beats Trellis
Magic Arrows
Everybody’s Arcade
Loot the Land
Frederic – Resurrection of Music

All PlayStation Mobile games will support the on-screen virtual DualShock controller, and if you’re using a PS Vita or Xperia PLAY device, you’ll also be able to play with traditional button controls, where applicable.

Sony says new games will be added every Wednesday.

    $ony really need to try get some of the popular mobile games on this!
    biggest threat to the vita is mobile gaming, and its been made stronger by all the awesome amazing titles for it like NOVA 3, MC3 or 4 jesus christ that looks like a bloody ps3 game!
    so having these titles on the vita would really help the system stand up against mobile gaming.
    not only will it offer its own titles, but also titles of its competition with enhanced controls due to the buttons and dual analogue sticks.
