Sony’s unveiled its sexy-looking PS3 smaller, a newer lighter console packing more GB than you can handle. The firm also unveiled some new bundles and even a console without an HDD a la Microsoft’s HDD-less Xbox 360. But here’s the problem, no price cut was announced.
Shouldn’t Sony have announced the new system with a price cut, at least making PS3 $199? I mean, what’s the sense of redesigning the console yet refusing to give it a price slash? In fact I believe this is the first time Sony’s announced a redesign of one of its systems and not announce a new price point.
What’s your take on this? Are you even interested in buying it? Let’s talk. Do it here: The Official Games Thirst redesign factory.
By the way, that presser was lackluster.

I am very disappointed that no price cut was announced with the super slim. I mean come on…at least $20! Maybe they will at a later date, but probably not. But to like Nick said in another post….the new girl is a sexy beast…all slim, trim, and thick where it counts…memory lol.
“The new girl is a sexy beast…all slim, trim, and thick where it counts…memory lol.” – Haha!
looks like were getting a revamp to launch with the new console too.

i don’t understand how this model didn’t get a price cut. Seems like a really BIG missed opportunity. especially since the Wii U is coming out soon.
oh and apparently the PSN store is getting a redesign

Hmm. Good stuff, because PSN does need a redesign.
