Sony Unveils New PS3 Slim – Pics, Details

What has been rumored for some time has finally been made official: Sony’s announced the new PS3 Slim at its Tokyo Game Show press conference.

The new model is 25% smaller and 20% lighter than the current PS3 (itself a redesign from the original version), and will come in two editions: 250GB and 500GB. The new PS3 will also be available in two colors: White and Black.

The Black will be out October 4th in Japan, while the white model will see a release November 22nd.

The 250GB model will be out on September 25th in the U.S., and will include Uncharted 3 and a $30 “digital content” voucher for DUST 514 (a free-to-play game). Said bundle will cost $270.

Also, a 500GB PS3 bundled with Assassin’s Creed III will on sale in the US on October 30th. It has not been priced.

For PAL territories, there won’t be a 250GB model, Sony will only make available the 500GB and the HDD-less 12GB models.

shocked though, shes one sexy beast!
only thing i would change is the ripple piece is set in 2 separate sections.
have the part on the left of the machine as it is, but the part on the right above the disk tray have that in the same material that ripple plastic but have it as a clear plastic so you can see the innards and maybe a custom drive so you can see the disk spinning!
that would be so cool!

ill definetly get this though, mines on its last legs ive had it since the slims launch over 2 years ago i think it was so its time to upgrade.
really good deal too, if you trade your ps3 at EB you get the 500GB model with borderlands 2 and fifa 13 for 190 bucks!
the games alone would cost you 200!
so your basically paying for the games, and getting a free ps3 to go with it.
