Redesign Coming To PlayStation Store In October

Redesign Coming To PlayStation Store In October

PSN’s looked the same way for years, and Sony’s been extremely slow when it comes to updating the service’s look compared to Microsoft’s Xbox Live. Well change is about to come, apparently, as a redesign of the PlayStation Store will go live this October in tandem with the smaller, slimmer PS3.

That’s actually news from PlayStation Australia, as spotted by PSN Stores, with the quote reading:

To tie in with the launch, PlayStation Store for PS3 is set to get a new look from October 2012 too, making it even easier for you to find and download the content you love from the comfort of your sofa.

PSN Stores also claimed that “web front store,” will get a face lift, too. But nothing’s yet confirmed by Sony.

Hopefully all this is true, because PSN could use a reboot, wouldn’t you agree?

Thanks, Ghost.
