Borderlands 2 is one of this year’s most anticipated titles hitting PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in under two weeks. Gearbox Software’s boss Randy Pitchford is now reaching out to Sony, hinting to the giant that a PS Vita version of the lauded game would be good for business on both ends. A win-win, he reckons.
Pitchford made clear his stance on the situation in a recent interview with IGN:
If some other studio was capable and could be trusted by us, and by a publishing partner, and by Sony, and someone wanted to invest in making that happen? I think Sony should step up and make that happen.
Would you like to see this happen? Pitchford will be meeting with Sony on the matter soon, so go on your knees and say a prayer. Prayer, it goes, changes things.
