Have you ever gotten so busy with work, life, and other activities that consume most of your time that you find yourself not playing games for a long while? That’s happened to me quite a lot recently. I’ve been traveling back-and-fourth between the USVI on business trips, MIA on the games front – but I’ve found a solution: A little bit here and there. Believe me, it does the trick.
Even if it’s an hour of gaming, what I’ve found is it’s enough. Sometimes all you need is a chance to get into the game of your choice and win – it really helps, doesn’t it? Makes you feel like you’ve done something good, like in your own little world, you’ve accomplished something that took skill.
So a little bit here and there will help. Like the old adage says: one plus one will eventually full the basket.
On the weekend front, I couldn’t get a hold of the rest of the editorial team to talk up their weekend activities, so I’ll do it like old times.
I’m out and about early today, it’s the political season here and everything just seems a bit more hectic. I’ll also be judging a cultural food event, meaning I’ll be eating some of the best cuisines out there. Good times.
Gaming-wise, last night I dreamt that I’d had maxed Battlefield 3 at 100. I’m now at 28 or so, but whatever, that’s just a silly dream. Maybe I’ll play some Darksiders 2.
What are you good people up to? Let’s hear it! And have a blessed weekend!
