Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida has said that PlayStation 3 is in its prime, and that those who are expecting a price cut this year will be disappointed, as there’s none in the pipeline.
“We are very happy with where we are in terms of PS3: the services, games, and the pricing included,” Yoshida told Eurogamer. “So, there’s no plan for any change we can talk about.”
My opinion on the matter of price cut is that next year, around summertime, Sony will slash the console’s price. I see no reason for the firm to do so now.
