The Witcher 2 Mod Tool Kit to Showcase at Gamescom

It was announced today that CD Projekt Red, developers of The Witcher series, will reveal their upcoming kit of mod tools at Gamescom. REDkit, the name of the kit, will be used with the highly-praised The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. The presentation of REDkit will only be open to the press, although they said more information will be shared next week.

As stated by the developers, “[Redkit] will allow any player to create their own content for the PC version of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, such as new, non-linear adventures, great looking locations and much more.”

With the success of DayZ, who knows if the next big mod will come out of this? I hope the developers will continue supporting modders, especially with CD Projekt Red’s next project on the horizon. Thoughts on REDkit? Comment Below!

    Lol according to your logic I should be in prison… >.>. I’ll eventually get around to playing it, I’ve been looking for a new RPG to play anyways.
