Konami has clarified that the latest patch released for the Playstation 3 version of Silent Hill HD Collection will not hit Microsoft’s console. The patch fixes framerate issues, audio syncing, missing sounds, missing music, fog density issues and other minor visual and audio improvements. Some of these have been being reported since the game’s launch, back in March.
However, Xbox 360 players will not be satisfied. “Plans for an Xbox 360 title update have been cancelled due to technical issues and resources”, as Konami stated, adding “Konami apologizes to any players who are continuing to experience these issues on the Xbox 360 SKU.”
This new patch issue with X360 players reminds us of Polytron and their Fez game, which stated the Xbox 360 would not receive a patch because of “resources”.
