Voice acting is a cornerstone of any great game. Taking a note from this belief, it seems that Arkane Studios has spared no expense on the voices of some of the characters of Dishonored.
The all-star cast of Dishonored begins with Carrie Fisher, best known as Leia Organa from the Star Wars series, will be voicing various government propaganda recordings. Chloe Grace Moretz, acknowledged for her role as Hit-Girl from Kick-Ass, will voice Young Lady Emily, daughter to the Empress. Lena Headey, better known as Cersie Lannister from HBO’s Game of Thrones, will voice Emily’s guardian Calista. John Slattery, famous for playing Roger Sterling in AMC’s Mad Men, will voice Admiral Havelock, an ally to Corvo, the main character. Brad Dourif, a Golden Globe winner, will voice Piero, an inventor who created Corvo’s iconic mask. There is even an Academy Award winner – Susan Sarandon, known for her roles in Thelma and Louise and Dead Man Walking. Sarandon will voice Granny Rags, a blind woman who has become deranged from being forced out of aristocracy into the streets of Dunwall’s poorer districts. Lastly, Michael Madsen, who played Budd in Kill Bill, will uniformly voice Daud, a mysterious Assassin.
