Capcom has announced today that its newly released IP Dragon’s Dogman has managed to sell 1 million units, while also confirming an increase in profits for its Q1 financial period.
The firm’s profit rose a mammoth 300%, hauling in ¥1.3 billion, an equivalent of $17 million or £11 million.
Capcom also saw an increase in its digital download branch, which posted sales of ¥13.7 billion ($175 million, £111 million), something that’s sure to get opponents of DLC fuming.
The publisher’s next big game is Resident Evil 6, seeing a release on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC early October.

I didnt buy Dragons Dogma,because the demo didnt grab me. But I am always happy to see a new IP succeed. And I agree with Nick’s comment…38 Studios screwed up big time.
