Modern Warfare 3 Banned From Daytime Placement

A Modern Warfare 3 TV ad has been banned in the UK, according to an ITV report.

The advert, which one viewer claimed that their two children, aged between two and four, had been “frightened by, will now be aired only after 7:30pm, a watchdog has ruled.

The ad takes certain scenes from the actually game showing destruction of buildings and other scenes of war.

Modern Warfare 3 was released last November. Call of Duty’s upcoming game, Black Ops 2 sees its release November 13th.

    that is one thing that really pisses me off about our rating system!
    you have to be 15 to play most of the games released, but then adds shown for them, even TV shows reviewing and showing footage of them are shown at 4PM when kids get home from school.
    right, so you have to be 15 to play the content, but you can be 5 and watch the content.
    how the hell does that work!?
