Sony’s Gamescom Press Conference Happens On August 14th

Are you ready for Europe’s equivalent of E3? You had better be, because there we believe a few big announcements will be made, including Sony’s unveiling of the PS3 Slimmer.

The presser will happen at 7pm local time, hosted at Staatenhaus am Rheinpark, Cologne.

Gamescom happens from August 15th-19th.

    Hey guys I have a problem on my Vita and I was hoping you guys could help me? Well I bought WipEout 2048 and then I finished the campaign after finished the game I turned of my Vita. When I turned it back on and I started WipeOut 2048 and it shows the intro movie, directly after that it shows a sign saying don’t turn off the Vita during the sign thingy and then it says error C2-12828-1 and I just don’t know what to do. I want to platinum the game.

    @Grim…is your firmware up to date? Because this issue should have been resolved with the previous update. If you are up to date on the firmware, try deleting and reinstalling the game. Be sure you backup your save on your PC though. If that doesnt work, I would suggest contacting Sony customer support.

    sounds like your vita is restoring to factory settings for some reason.
    customer support will be the only ones who can answer that.
    or you can try take it back to where you bought it see if they will give you a replacement, most stores offer that for the first 30 days after purchase.
    back on topic dont expect too much from gamescom.
    especially from $ony!
    they were not going to turn up till the last minute, and now with their TGS will take a big shift towards the vita remark yesterday its really got me wondering what they will show at gamescom.
    probably more dick waving, useless games no one wants like wonderbook, then finally some gameplay footage of games people do want.
    i hope we finally get to see some footage of the infected in the last of us, ND have been FAR too quiet on them!
    some live gameplay from beyond would be nice too.

    Dude I just did what you said, I backed up the Vita. Deleted the WipEout 2048 Data. Went to Content Manager and Restored, but there was an error and I lost all my things inside my Vita. Talk about a bad day.

    Sorry Grim…all i can say is try Sony customer service, or what Nick said and try returning it to the store you purchased it from. I had some issues with my Vita, and Sony customer service was awesome with helping me.

    I contacted Sony Customer Service nothing helped me. Ughh…. guess I have to wait for a patch.
