Terminal Reality is developing a FPS title based on The Walking Dead series airing on AMC, Activision has confirmed.
The game will be based around Daryl Dixon and his brother Merle who are on a “haunting, unforgiving quest to make their way to the supposed safety of Atlanta.”
Zombies in the game will hunt using light, sound and smell, while players will use the main character, Daryl, to either fight or avoid them.
“No place is truly safe for Daryl as he makes his way through the Georgia countryside in this new, post-apocalyptic world,” Activision said.
In the game, supplies will be far and between, so gamers must manage their resources with care. Other characters from Walking Dead will also appear in the game, and can choose to follow Daryl if they like.
The Walking Dead will hit stores next year on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
