Origin senior vice president David DeMartini has made known that EA won’t be satisfied until all its games can score 90 or above on popular reviews aggregate site Metacritic.
“EA is in a really interesting place. We have this bar that is set so high, so that whether it is any of our games or services, we want to be 90 plus Metacritic at everything,” DeMartini said of the publisher to MCV.
“Origin is moving in that direction. We are not there yet. We understand that. But we are going to get there soon,” he added.
It’s not a bad goal to have. In fact I like the attitude that all games within EA should aim to be of the best quality… let’s just hope media-wrangling isn’t part of the strategy.
