I’m sure you’ve heard about the upcoming Mortal Kombat movie, but did you know it’ll follow the story of a “lowly unhappy supermarket employee”? Yep. Brace yourselves.
That’s according to movie site Bloody Disgusting: “With Kevin Tancharoen still attached to direct from Oren Uziel’s screenplay”, the site writes, “we’ve exclusively discovered that the live-action reboot will follow a lowly unlucky supermarket employee who discovers that he has out of this world powers and must decide between good and evil, even though the evil side has helped him discover his true potential and who he really is.”
I’ve personally been disappointed with every outing except the first, anyway, so I won’t hold my breath.
Thanks, Kotaku.

I agree EG….just give me a movie like the 1st and Im happy
sigh, why can’t they just make it like the games instead trying to change shit to make it different. hell the story is already there why change it into something stupid for?
they will do a stupid movie, but they wont do a new game!

god dam it, ed for the love of god get your head into gear, stop wasting your teams time, and get to work on a proper sequel to deception!
by far the best MK game ever released!
they need to throw some of the features from DC universe though, like the combat while falling and combat smashing through buildings was pretty cool!
The movies sell, I guess.
so do the games, MK sold quite well actually.
