Dead Island: Riptide Announced

Deep Silver’s announced a sequel to Dead Island subtitled Riptide.

No details were divulged other than Techland will once again developer the title to see a release on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

The publisher also promised to release more info on the game during the summer.

The first title was released back in September 2011 on PS3, 360 and PC.

    SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    please, oh please, just dont make all the missions fetch missions like the last game was!
    i had so much fun playing that game but it drove me INSANE with all its repetitive missions!
    gets boring doing the same thing over and over again!
    and get rid of the stupid weapon breaking system!
    its so stupid, the whole point of the game is having fun decimating zombies!
    but you find yourself constantly kicking them instead because you dont want to use your precious weapons because your worried they will break! kinda defeats the purpose of the game no? its no fun repeating the same mission over and over and over and over and over again, and its even less fun kicking enemies instead of slicing their head off because your worried about breaking your weapons!

    I never got around to actually pick the first game up, never really found interest in it. I might give this a try though.
