Sony Close To Acquiring Either Onlive Or Gaikai – Report

Sony’s apparently close to acquiring a major cloud-gaming firm, an MCV source has made known.

The high profile nature of the company suggest it’ll either be Onlive or Gaikai, however the source couldn’t confirm which of the two.

Ostensibly, the deal’s “close to being signed”.

If Sony purchases a cloud-gaming company, expect it to be integrated into PS4 considerably, and other Sony devices. How it’ll all work, however, is a question that’s yet to be answered. E3 is just a few days away. Look out for our E3 details post coming soon.

    this is about as point full as a cup of water at a oil rig fire!
    no one has the bandwidth to cover what the service uses, and the few who do wont have a fast enough connection to use it!
    this is EXACTLY why $onys stock is the lowest in the companies history!
    stupid decisions like this!
    spending millions organizing deals that will benefit 0.0000000000000000000000000000000001% of their customer base!
