Far Cry 3 Insane Edition Announced

Ubisoft has today announced Far Cry 3′s ‘Insane Edition’, coming with, amongst other things, a bobblehead Vaas. No joke. The full quencher’s inside.

It comes with all the digital content for the game, including Monkey Business (an exclusive one hour single-player mission) and extra single-player and multiplayer content (three packs: the Hunter Pack, Predator Pack and Warrior Pack, and the two bonus missions that come with the already the Lost Expeditions single-player content).

Adding more to the offering, you’ll get an essential island survival guide, exclusive survival kit packaging and the insane Vaas Wahine bobblehead.

Here’s the full quencher:

– A 12cm Vaas Wahine with bobble head.
– Monkey Business – Discover Hurk, a new memorable character and quest giver, and his four unique missions (one hour additional gameplay).
– The Lost Expeditions – Two suspenseful action packed missions totaling over 40 minutes of additional gameplay and an exclusive weapon (The Japanese gun).
– The Hunter Pack – The M700 hunting rifle and its three collector’s skins.
– The Warrior Pack – A handcrafted dagger and two exclusive tribal tattoos.
– The Predator Pack – Four exclusive rare predators and a multiplayer bow.
– An ‘Insanity Guide’ containing hints and tips to help you survive the island.

Far Cry 3 will be released September 4th and 7th in the U.S. and Europe respectively.

    eh, ok but not great.
ive gone off buying special editions they use to be really awesome bits of kit, now there just crap!
99% of the time their flimsy plastic cases or figurines, heaps of MP DLC i dont use, and im expected to pay 50,60,70,80, 100, 150 more than standard!
    NO THANKS!
99% of the time you dont even get a special print case, disk and manual!
    cough max payne 3!
that has to be the worst “collectors” edition ive ever bought!
60 bucks more and all you get is a crappy cheap 5 dollar figurine, crappy MP DLC ill never use, 5 post cards and a tiny little plastic bullet keychain.
totally worth the extra 60 bucks!
what pisses me off most about these things though is the game 99% of the times is exactly the same as the standard edition!
i mean come on if your paying a extra 50 bucks at least give us a special art cover and a special print on the disk to show its a “collectors” item!
as far as people in the future know you just bought that seperatley at a shop, nothing ever shows its part of a collectors item!
