First Dragon’s Dogma Review Hits The Web

Capcom once said Dragon’s Dogma will be the best action game ever created, let’s see if the first review of the game taken from the latest issue of Game Informer agrees.

From Game Informer AU Magazine: “Dragons Dogma is an unconventional game for Capcom and action-RPG in general. Combat feels like a nessessary part of the games design, rather than something that was begrudgingly added to provide interaction between cutscenes. I left the game feeling that I had made my mark on Gransys the way I chose to, instead of being escourted from plot point to plot point. When you’re talking about an open-world game, I cant think of higher praise.” – Jeff Cork

Dragon’s Dogma sees a release May 22nd on PS3 and 360.

im really excited to see the combats actually the main emphasis of the game.
FAR too many of these styled games really fall down because the combats really simple.
skyrim and the witcher 2, 2 games i absolutely adore but just get bored of playing really quickly because the combat is boring as bat shit!
kingdoms is the perfect example of importance of gameplay.
i absolutely hate everything about the game, but i stuck with it just because the combat was so much dam fun!
a game with awesome graphics, awesome story, awesome characters, awesome level design, everything perfect but poor combat = a poor game.
a game with everything crap but a really fun combat system = a good game.
i wish developers would get that through their thick skulls!

    no probs.
yeah it should do really well.
im really interested to see what types of weapons you can unlock.
i hope it has axes and spiked clubs!
one thing i really hate about allot of adventure games these days is every melee weapon you get is a type of sword.
there are so many more variety of weapons than swords!
