Thirsty Conversations: What Do You Want From E3 2012?

Next month the biggest gaming expo in the industry will descend on Los Angeles, and we wanted to know what you expect from the show.

E3 2012 promises massive game reveals and a few surprises. Let’s investigate:

Rumor – Xbox Infinity Reveal

Rumor – PS4 Reveal

Rumor – Syphon Filter unveiling

Rumor – A new Killzone

Rumor – Splinter Cell 6 showing

Rumor – PS Vita price cut

Rumor – PS3 price cut

Confirmed – Black Ops II gameplay footage

Confirmed – Nintendo Wii U re-introduction (with all-new games)

And that’s just for starters. Will we really see a new Xbox this year? Will Metro: Last Light really come to Wii U? Lots of questions but the only thing that matters is what YOU want to see.

    I am one of the few people who do not want to see new hardware this year. Would like for people to enjoy their Kinects and 360 slims for another yr before the new one is announced. As far as games…I want to see more Vita games with firm release dates. Im also excited to see these “new experiences” for the PS3. As far as 360 I want to see more than timed exclusives and more non-gaming content. And the big big thing I want to see……SYPHON FILTER FOR PS3!!!!!! DAMNIT….JUST GIVE IT TO US ALREADY SONY!!!!!!

    I want to see: Bungie’s new IP, The Last Guardian, Beyond Good and Evil 2, Dishonored, Survarium, Resident Evil 6, Halo 4, and Bioshock of course.

    @Reaper: Ah, yes. That new game from Bungie. I’m thinking it’ll be released for next-gen platforms though.

    @Ernice: Yea, it would make sense for Bungie to wait for next gen. Push the wow factor as much as possible. I’m thinking The Last Guardian will be pushed to next-gen too.

    Indeed. I’m in agreeance. And even if The Last Guardian gets pushed back, we should see something this year just to keep it in the media. Keep hype alive.

    I hope that the PS Vita price cut would be real. I even hope more that Sony releases a PS Vita Slim Model with better features, such as a 5mp camera with flash, and it is cheaper.

    ps4 with ff7 exclusive remake as its release game! that would destroy any chance of the new xbox :)

    definitely wont happen but i really want to see a new xbox and playstation.
    we need to see more exclusives from both manufactures too both for next gen and current.
    id love to see a new crackdown and a new banjo kazooie.
    and of course a new project dark.
    ninja blade sequel too, that was one game that could of been so freaking awesome!
    a new too human would be nice too.
    as for $ony we NEED to bring back 8 days and the getaway 3!
    no i wont get over them, 8 days was looking uncharted 2 good 2 years before uncharted 2 released!
    and the getaway 3, well, its well nothing special its just the only franchise to ever stand up to the biggest series of all time GTA!
    nothing special, certainly does not deserve a current gen title!
    id love to see crash bandicoot back on playstation, be it HD remakes or a new game, i dont care just bring my favorite mascot back!
    id love to see a new medievil game too.
    we need a new infamous game, new killzone game, new R&C game and of course the new game david cages team is working on.
    as for the vita new IPs is what it needs!
    allot of people that have a vita already own a ps3 so allot of the sequels and stright ports there not going to buy, so vita REALLY needs new IPs!
    as for ninty the usual.
    a new super mario brothers game for the wiiu, a new zelda game for the wiiu, a new metroid game for the wiiu, a new kid icaris game for the wiiu, a new super mario galaxy 3 for the wiiu, red steel 3 for the wiiu, donkey kong for the wiiu, and of course it needs some core games so bring us a sequel to mad world, and the conduit!
    as for the rest of the publishers i just want to see new info on already announced games.
    only new games i want to see announced are splinter cell 6, BLACK 2, burnout sequel, the game bungie are working on and the game respawn is working on.

    All great points, Nick. That game Respawn is working on I can’t wait to see. The same for Bungie, as Reaper pointed out.. But I’m also excited to see how Wii U works, man. The games, features, etc. Can’t wait.

    Oh, I forgot to mention Dishonored. That game looks great too, and even better it’s a new IP.
