Games Thirst Giveaway: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier [Xbox 360] Beta Key GiveAway! [Update]

Before I get into the main reason for this post, I want to extend my many thanks to SHADOWBOXER who set the bar VERY high for his great reason as to why he wants the Beta Code. That being said, I have a special surprise for everyone. Don’t hold me to this yet, I still need to speak to Ernice about it, but, for those of you who participate in this contest and you don’t win, I want to personally invite 10 of the contest participants to do a LIVE Ghost Recon: Future Soldier discussion with Myself, and Ernice. I will post the details of what we will be doing soon, I wanted to give everyone something to look forward too.

Now onto the main reason for this post, due to SHADOWBOXER setting the bar so high for this contest, I am going to extend it to the 29th, I want to see you all participate in this contest, I want to see someone beat SHADOWS reason. So I strongly encourage you all to compete against each other, and have fun with this.

    I’d like to start my post by saying I’m very grateful for a chance to win a beta key. I only stumbled upon the original post this morning and was worried I had missed the deadline. I actually made an account for the sole reason of entering this competition, though I have browsed and I can see myself becoming a regular member. I have read SHADOWBOXER’s post and he seems like a true fan. I admit, the last Ghost recon game I played was the first Advanced Warfighter; however, I do enjoy the Tom Clancy Splinter Cell series. I have casually been following this game ever since I saw the demo of the single player mission (the one on the beach.) And now that this game comes closer and closer to release, I am becoming more and more excited. I am a competitive person by nature and I am naturally drawn to multiplayer games, like Halo Reach, Starcraft 2, and Gears of War 3. Halo Reach has sadly grown stale and I can only play so many ladder games in Starcraft. Gears of War held a special position in my heart as a competitive third person shooter, however, the latest one in the series only held my attention for a short while as it was a bunch of people running around with sawed off shotguns. This is the void that I am expecting Ghost Recon: Future Soldier to fill. I am loving the emphasis that Ubisoft is putting on teamwork which is much more realistic compared to the standard lone wold style of gameplay in so many shooters today. I would really appreciate a beta key so that I can see what this game has to offer and (hopefully) fall in love with it. I am already loving all of the videos that have been surfacing on Youtube of the beta and I would love to join in the fun. I know that Diablo 3 is releasing on May 15th but I’m sure this beta would convince me to fork over yet another $60 come May 22nd. Thanks again for extending the deadline.

    I LOVE Ghost Recon. I’ve been playing back since we liberated the Russians in ’02. More importantly, it’s been MY game with my friends. My friends are great at World of Warcraft, others are killer at Starcraft. Some play League of Legends. Then I just stick to Ghost Recon. They tell me that Ghost Recon isn’t a big deal, but we all know they’re wrong. Pick me! I want to show em off so bad, and show them how dirty Future Soldier will be. Hell yeah!

    I think so, I’ve checked every hour yesterday to see whats up and still no update on the winner, On the facebook page it said it had a winner of the xbox 360 beta key on the 25th but i didnt see any winner of that on this website. Hopefully today we’ll see who wins..
