day 1 DLC, online passes, DLC locked on the disk, developers “noobifying” their games for the sake of gaining more customers.
i miss the good old days where developers would make the game they wanted, not the game they think will sell!
developers have just lost their ambition to push the industry forward, all they want to do is make the big bucks!
its disgusting, so many times you hear people complain about games and they reply well it sold well.
so?
that makes it sound like ah it sold well so we dont care if people like it!
randy pitchford for instance, he left his home and moved to texas when he was really young so he could work on duke nukem.
its his calling, his life hood, so he should be ashamed to put out forever in the state its in!

as long as it brings in the $$$$$$$$$$ who cares!
id MUCH rather make a game that sells 1M units and has a meta score of 9/10 and fans love, then a game that sells more but has a meta score of 6/10 and has fans spitting at me.
