Confirmed: Dark Souls Announcement Is PC Release

darksouls_new

Just as Games Thirst user Ghost250 suggested, the Dark Souls announcement From Software and Namco Bandai have been teasing is actually a PC release of the game.

AllGamesBeta obtained an image of PC mag Power Play which goes on sale April 18th showing red bold text that reads: “You DIED”.

Finally, PC fans will be able to put their might to the test as they play what console gamers have been enjoying for quite some time.

That’s effing great, I’ll get it on PC as well as stick to my PS3 limited edition. From deserves support for this gem, and I’m glad the PC audience (albeit a little elitist and selfish) gets to experience it.

Yep! I’m really happy to see this game make the move to PC, myself, Crash Okami. I hope it does really, really well there!

If it’s not a cheap port, it has the potential to be a hit. Imagine all the rendering distance and framerate problems, they can be ironed out if ported correctly and take advantage of the PC specs.

“Imagine all the rendering distance and framerate problems, they can be ironed out if ported correctly and take advantage of the PC specs.” – If done correctly, this game could be a massive hit on PC.
