I do not think they are that mad about the ending, but rather the fact that the ending is the same no matter what you do. It pisses me off because I will spend 10 min. trying to think of the right decision to make at a moment because it may effect the ending of the game, but it doesn’t matter this time around. The series is built on the ability to make decisions, and these decisions effect the end of the game. Bioware even made a huge deal about the 16 unique endings for the game that are effected by your decisions throughout the game and then we get the game and it doesn’t. I do not care how the game ends. They could kill everyone off for all I care. It would just be nice if what I did in the game changed things later on, like the other games.

Ghost250, I agree. To say that the differences between the 16 different endings are minor is just ridiculous. Won’t spoil anything, but think about planets, alliances, wars, races, lives that have their future changed, crossed out or something of impact. I hate the internet generation of gamers, too much sense of entitlement. I want to work in the industry myself, but to think I’ll have this audience disheartens me.

And to think I was planning on getting into the whole franchise, as someone who hasnt played any of the Mass Effect games. I was looking forward to jumping into a new series. But from this I can definitely say Ill pass on this one.

no gamer is entitled to the right to make a dev change the ending of game. on disc DLC okay i give that, thats a legitimate reason to get pissed. but an ending NO, i don’t know how many games/movies i didn’t like the ending to but im not gonna complain about, but i will comment on it about my distaste for it, because in the end thats the way the dev intended their vision of the ending to be. im sorry but all these mass effect crybabies need to get the hell over it and accept it. i honestly hope that BioWare will stick to their guns and not change the ending because i can forsee a start of a new trend of whiners complaining about every video game. these mass effect fanboys have got to be the most selfish i’ve ever seen in gaming history. they talk to no end about how great ME is but when it comes to the ending of 3 they wanna complain? get outta here with that BULL$%^T! just because a particular endings they wanna condemn the wholes series like whatever.

Bioware really needs to do some absolubtely awesome ass kissing it it expects to be trusted as a game maker in future. ONE ending for everyone no matter how you shaped your story? I dont know what they take us for – but I just find the fact they even tried to give us a non-sensical and basically retarded ending to everyone – ESPECIALLY after we were promised at LEAST 16 unique endings.

“You cant even say there is like ending A,B or C” to paraphrase. Um.. yes I can. Its called Blue explosion, Green Explosion, Red explosion.

Im still in shock and frustration at the endings we got. Its like they just stopped caring when they put them in.

I want an ending that is great where I can retire to my LI home planet and raise little kids for when I work super hard. I want an ending where I die horribly with all my buddies when I really am just playing super lazy.

I want something for everyone to enjoy. Not 10 mins of gameplay that basically throw the rug out from under you with something that a 5 year old would come up with that undermines the entire 5 year franchise.
