I’m sure some of you have been thinking about this. Since the Tier 1 Operators, (the group we know as the Navy Seals) were the ones who stormed the compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan where 9/11 mastermind Osama Bin Laden sought refuge, then Medal Of Honor: Warfighter should include a mission depicting the very scenario of how he was caught and killed, right? Not so fast.
When asked by OXM U.S. whether the game would feature such a mission, Warfighter’s executive producer Greg Goodrich paused before answering, and then said it was not Danger Close’s story to tell.
“That’s not our story to tell,” Goodrich told the magazine frankly. “That’s family business to the Tier 1 Operators.
He then added: “It’s been an interesting exercise learning what’s okay and what’s not okay [to portray in the game].”
So no ‘kill Bin Laden’ mission in Medal Of Honor: Warfighter, then.
OXM U.S. is now available in stores across the U.S., go pick on up as it includes tons more details on Warfighter and other upcoming titles.

more than likely not gonna pick this up. shooters are getting too stale. i will be getting BioShock Infinite, Rainbow 6 Patriots, Resistance Burning skies & Alien’s Colonial Marines though. i’m considering Dishonored but all we know is the concept of the game, we haven’t even seen gameplay yet. but yeah besides those not really looking to buy any other shooters.
pretty self explanatory.
if having the taliban as playable characters in the MP was too contreversial then its quite obvious EA wont be willing to risk the backlash they would get from this.
after all is it really worth risking pissing off some crazy maniacs just for a video game?
