The consensus has been settled, many believe that the event Apple’s inviting folks to attend tomorrow will be to reveal their latest tablet, iPad 3, especially when the invite included a pic of, you guessed it: an iPad. But we have reason to believe the firm will unveil something new altogether.
“We have something you really have to see. And touch,” reads the message on the invite, which is accompanied by an iPad image – but we believe that’s too obvious, especially for Apple, a company that prides itself on secrecy and stunning its vast fanbase.
Note, we’re not saying the firm won’t unveil the iPad 3, as we believe that too will be present, but if I were you, I wouldn’t be surprised if the inventor of iPod, iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad suddenly revolutionized the scene with an unveiling of something new and hot, maybe even sexy.
“We’re thrilled with our outstanding results and record-breaking sales of iPhones, iPads and Macs. Apple’s momentum is incredibly strong, and we have some amazing new products in the pipeline,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook following publication of the firm’s record-breaking quarterly financial results.
Might at least one of these “amazing new products” be unveiled tomorrow? The possibilities are quite high.

It might be the new iMac model. There are rumors that it will have touch screen capabilities. Also, it is already past the usual dev cycle and release for the iMac. Apple is pretty consistent on release dates, so it may be the iMac.
Its 100% a new apple tv. Not an apple tv set but a set top box
I concur a new Apple TV. @Ernice just was to start to the Console Wars Part 3 so he is pulling for an Apple Video Game Console…
@os1019: Wouldn’t mind Apple jumping in one bit… Think it’d make things all the more exciting. Might just be the topic of our next TC.
why the hell would you announce 2 bits of hardware in 1 event?
talk about shooting yourself in the foot!
it will be ipad 3 and only ipad 3.
hopefully something different, something that will make people change their ideas and concepts for a tablet.
everyones been asking whats the point of having a ipad when the iphone you already has does everything the ipad has.
well maybe there finally going to change that!
id love to see a ipad thats cross compatible with both IOS, OSX and windows.
wont ever ever happen, but it would certainly come in handy!
Fingers crossed, guys. I love new hardware.
i wonder if it will have the folding OLED technology.
samsung announced last CES that they were releasing foldable displays this year, so if apple want to fight back who which is really kicking the crap out of them ATM, they REALLY need to try get the drop on them!
or maybe even use SAMOLED which stands for active matrix organic light emitting diode.
crisper and cleaner then the OLED screens we have today like in the galaxy S2 and vita.
