While Crytek is busy working on THQ’s Homefront for next generation consoles, the developer has another branch working on a new project with EA – we think it’s Crysis 3.
This link as all the information.
Crysis 2 was released on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, and went on to sell about 4 million units, a decent showing for a game formally a PC exclusive. We weren’t expecting Crytek to stop making Crysis games, the real question is whether part 3 will be released on current gen or next. What do you guys think?
Thanks, AGB.

And what ever it is ill be able to play it at Max settings! My ps3 sold for $510 and I just ordered $450 worth of computer parts…. I’m still waiting for a good deal to pop up on a few things.
dunno about where you live, but see if you can find any computer markets.
theres some here in the city where i found parts half price what the bigger retailers sell them for!
my 3D monitor for instance harvey norman was selling it for 1200 bucks, a small asian store in the city gave it to me for 500!
id love to see both.
but if i had to put any money on it its definitely next gen.
there a fairly small team, no way they can work in full capacity on kingdoms that kinect game, homefront 2, and this all at the same time.
so yea that puts the likelihood of this releasing this gen pretty slim.
what do i think? hmmmm me personally i can not stand crytek or their games, so im not really intrigued by this
Agreed with Nick. It’ll be next-gen before another Crysis is released.
@Ghost: Why didn’t you enjoy Crysis 2?
@Ernice Gilbert no i hated crysis 2, could’ve swore i said that before
