Xbox Live marketing boss Robin Burrowes has apparently left Microsoft to work at Apple, MCV’s reporting.
Burrowes, before his job as head of marketing at MS Europe, worked at MSN and HMV in the UK, however he will now be boss of marketing of Apple’s App Store for iTunes Europe, according MCV.
Apple is obviously taking the gaming space seriously. Not too long ago the firm grabbed ex-Nintendo UK communications head Rob Saunders and former Xbox PR head Nick Grange to join its ever increasing ranks of gaming executives.
Is there a console in the making? We doubt it, but iOS is mobile gaming’s biggest platform.
