Prototype 2′s PC Release Gets Delayed

Prototype 2′s PC Release Gets Delayed

We just heard about all the cool things to expect in Radical Entertainment’s console special edition release of Prototype 2, but details of a similar special edition for the PC are…nonexistent. And to add slight insult to minor PC injury — now Prototype 2 has been delayed for PC as well.

Radical posted the news on its Facebook page, noting that Prototype 2 for PC is getting pushed back to July 24 from its previous release date of April 24. That’s a pretty substantial delay for the PC release, but there aren’t any details right now as to what might be causing the delay and what Radical will be doing with that time.

Activision said that more details on the version will be available in the coming months.

when did the PC become the bastard child?
as if its not bad enough we have to put up with crappy console ports, and crappy DRM, now we have to put up with almost every game being delayed!

People pirate too many games on PC…that’s the reason for the delay – so consoles can sell more units…

    and consoles are any better?
if anything piracy is worse on consoles because PCs the only one who has measures to prevent it!
they could implement DRM measures to help stop that.
piracy has nothing to do with it, PC games are getting delayed for only 1 reason.
just like what happened with arkham city, there getting delayed because PC games because they make more profit off them!

Of course consoles are better, Nick. PC is the biggest pirating tool. You know it.

so thats why PC exclusives like the witcher 2 took 3 weeks after release to get onto torrent sites, and ps3 exclusives like KZ3 were available weeks before release, and 360 exclusives months before release?
hell syndicate, the darkness 2 and kingdoms of amalour are all on torrent sites now.
    wanna guess which platform?
360, PSP, DS and wii have FAR worse piracy issues then PC!
i remember the year super mario brothers wii came out, ninty ended up filing a law suit and stated that pirated copies outnumbered soled copies 4:1!
PC games have never had such a high piracy rate, not even freaking crysis!
so sorry, but no dont use that stupid BS excuse because its not even correct!
