At CES, Sony announced that PS Vita had already sold 500,000 units in Japan after being on the market for three weeks, and announced that Netflix will be available for the console’s western launch from Day one.
The firm also spoke of Sony Entertainment Network as being a central part of its overall strategy, adding that it plans to connect over 300 million devices to the network over the next three years. That’s according to Sony boss Howard Stringer who also said they plan on “building a network platform to let you experience games, music, movies and TV whenever and however.”
Music Unlimited, formerly Qriocity will also be available on PS Vita from day one.
