Uh-oh. Instead of focusing squarely on fixing the many issues facing Battlefield 3 on PS3, DICE VO Producer Tomas Danko had to drag the competitor’s game in, saying Call of Duty: Black Ops’ voice chat problem on PS3 was “bad’.
Responding to a fan troubled with BF3 bugs, Danko said: “We don’t seem to be playing the same game, I have very few issues with #BF3 when playing. Remember Black-Ops, btw? That was bad.”
Now, Black Ops definitely have its voice issues on PS3, but bringing the competitor’s game into the fray just to prove yours isn’t that bad is not the right thing to do. Yes, Black Ops has issues, but the last time I checked, DICE wanted to differentiate its shooter from Treyarch and Infinity Ward – so why compare them now?
