Call of Duty 9: Project Iron Wolf

Every year a Call of Duty game is released and goes on to become the top-selling game of the year. Whether some want to agree or not, there’s one reason for its success: the fun factor. Treyarch is once more at the helm of yet another offering and although we believe lots of changes are needed to keep the franchise fresh, we have no doubt that codename Call of Duty 9: Project Wolf will be yet another epic episode in biggest piece of entertainment, ever.

Earlier this year, a member of the Se7ensins forum named iHC James took screens of a Treyarch developer friends list using an Xbox 360 dev kit that had access to the partner-net sector of Xbox Live, which apparently revealed a group of Treyarch employees all playing a game called “Project Iron Wolf”.

The devs statuses reveal that Team Deathmatch was being played in Black Ops’ Nuke Town according to forum member iHC James. It seems iHC James has access, or at least he had it because leaking such things would definitely cause one to lose his credentials. However if true it proves Treyarch’s already testing early code of its next Call of Duty game in Black Ops maps. By now, Call of Duty 9: Project Wolf must be more than halfway there as it’ll release November 2012.

What would you like from the next Call of Duty?
