bf3flash1

We’ve discussed many topics around these parts, but I can’t remember the last time we had a discussion on our favorite game genres. There are many to choose from, so truly think about it and then answer the question: What’s your favorite game genre? Tell the truth. Do it here: The Official Gamesthirst Lie Detector Room.

That’s easy….Action/Adventure. So many amazing games in that genre….God of War, Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank, Red Dead Redemption, Assassin’s Creed, Grand Theft Auto and so many more.

Ha! Same thing for me… Action Adventure took the cake for me when Uncharted was released…..But yeah, God of War, Gears of War etc…

its too hard to say a specific genre as they all have their own qualities, but if i was forced to choose id have to say sports.
The enjoyment you get of knocking your best mate out or scoring the winning goal cannot in the 90th minute, can not be beaten – in my eyes – in a computer game. Especially before the internet revolutionised the gaming industry to get a few mates round and have a good old tournament with a few beers is still one of the best ways you can spend your weekend!
After that id have to say FPS, but only recently since the internet came along, before that they were extremely limited. Now i can spend all night playing them lol.
Cant wait for FIFA friday tonight!!!

Ha! Good points. I must say, a good round of football online is insane fun. And you’re right, FPS only really took off when the internet did. Great points!

i would say survival horror, but thats so rare these days.
stupid developers have it in there mind that every game has to be a mindless action shooter, and has to have MP.
    cough dead space 2…….
so id have to go with a propper adventure game.
not the action adventure you get today like GOW or assassins creed, but the old style adventure like zelda, darksiders, digemon or pokemon.
or even nier was a good game.
